At Beaman Electric we believe in devotion to teamwork, a well-trained work force, and a deep-seated commitment to giving customers a sense of safety and security with the best product on the market!

Beaman Electric is family operated with a professional and corporate mindset. Owners Lee Beaman has his Master License, while his wife Vanessa Beaman, a licensed journeyman, are both active in the day-to-day operations. The name Beaman Electric is synonymous with quality and service and has maintained that representation into the 21st centruy. Beaman Electric started as a small residential electrical contractor by Warren E. Beaman, Lee's father, in the early 1970's, and has developed into one of the premier residential and commercial electrical contractors in Southwest Missouri and beyond.

We are Christian based and sales driven through quality service. Our growth is through a knowledgeable and highly trained staff. We are honest in our dealings with all who come through our doors and cognizant of trends and client needs. We are aware of the needs of our employees to grow and develop both personally and professionally. We recognize our position in the community and encourage our employees’ participation in social, cultural and civic affairs.

Our management team includes:

Lee Beaman

Title: President and Owner, Master Electrician
Duties: Commercial Division Manager, oversees the company as a whole, serves on several construction-related committees in the Springfield area.
When he’s not at work: He loves horseback riding, working on cars, woodwork and building projects.
Favorite things: Proud that Beaman Electric is a Christian-based organization and being a grandpa.
Direct Quote: “My goal is to strive to be the best. I want Beaman Electric to be the best in the business.”

Vanessa Beaman

Title: Vice President and Owner, Journeyman Electrician
Duties: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and any tasks that need to be done to keep the office running smoothly.
When she’s not at work: She loves horseback riding and camping with her horses, and enjoys her Rottweilers.
Favorite things: Being able to spend time with her husband.
Direct Quote: “We were one of the first couples to go into business and be licensed electricians together.”

Debbie Speake

Title: Office Manager
Duties: Accounts Receivable, billing, payroll, benefits, general office management. Works hand-in-hand with Vanessa.
When she’s not at work: Watching baseball games, bowling, spending time with family.
Favorite things: Family
Direct Quote: “The best part of my job is working with my husband.”

Terry Speake

Title: Residential Division Manager, Master Electrician
Duties: Residential estimating for new construction, project management, IT guru for the Beaman office.
When he’s not at work: Playing with electronics and cars.
Favorite things: Electrical drawings for blueprints, so customers can actually see what is estimated, not just a confusing list of things.
Direct Quote: “I love figuring out what others say can’t be done.”

James DeBerry

Title: Estimator, Master Electrician
Duties: Commercial estimating and residential remodel estimates, studying blueprints and measurements to determine labor and materials.
When he’s not at work: Playing golf, pool and bowling.
Favorite things: His dogs, Chynah and Bo
